Aminah

Aminah holds a Masters in Public Health from the University at Buffalo in Community Health and Health Behavior. She is a Ph.D. candidate in Community Health Sciences at the University of Illinois Chicago, where her research focuses broadly on the mental health of minorities at the intersection of race, gender, and religion. She has experience in qualitative data collection and analysis. Her dissertation examines the mental health consequences of singlism or singlehood stigma among unmarried Muslims in North America from an intersectional perspective.
